Group Lessons with Kimberly Fisher.

In weekly, hour-long group lessons, each student will be given the opportunity of playing both for Kimberly Fisher, Principal Second Violin of The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the other five-six members of the group. Almost a mini master class, these group lessons will include input from the group as well as direct instruction from Kimberly Fisher. A group lesson – through which each student is given the opportunity to perform, receive one-on-one instruction, and offer critique – is the ultimate collaborative learning tool for musicians. Half private lesson, half master class, a group lesson is a valuable learning tool for any musician looking to take the next step.

In the group lesson setting, Kimberly Fisher will go through a specific file and repertoire with four-six students per group. Participants will have the opportunity to play excerpts of the specific piece for the class to receive comments and guidance from Ms. Fisher. When purchasing, be sure to select the Repertoire Group that is right for you. Classes are held every Thursday (times TBA) beginning May 7th.  Lessons must be purchased in groups of four (i.e. in one month increments).  See dates below.
